今日單字:  fame  [n.]  =  名氣、聲譽、名望

可能很多人不知道「吞世代」是什麼意思。

吞世代  =  tween / tweenager  =  大約9~12歲的人。

也就是不能算兒童，但也還不是青少年的那個階段。

1.  使...聞名、使...有名望  ( e.g.  She was famed for her good looks )

** 通常用被動語態 **

famed  [adj.]

1.  有名的、著名的  ( e.g.  This is quite a famed lake. Many people come here to relax. ).

famous  [adj.]

1.  著名的、出名的  ( e.g.  Canada is famous for its maple syrup. )

**A is famous for B  =  A 因 B 而出名**

infamous  [adj.]

1.  聲名狼藉的、臭名昭著的  ( e.g.  Hitler is the most infamous person in history. )

2.  無恥的、不名譽的  ( e.g.  Her actions were so infamous that she was disowned by her family. )

infamy  [n.]

1.  惡名  ( e.g.  His infamy will outlast his descendants. )

2.  醜惡、邪惡

3.  醜事、寡廉鮮恥的行為

(二) 好用片語、俚語、成語及名言

In conclusion, fame is not for me.
